1.I’ve lost weight on many diets before and then gained it all back. Why should I try this one? My Diet Angel really isn’t a diet at all. It’s a change in lifestyle. With the help of a coach, you’ll make permanent changes in your life. Other diets fail you because you never change your habits. You make an artificial change (drastically change your eating, eat prepackaged food, drop your calories too low, etc) that is unsustainable, so when you’re “done” with the diet, you return to your previous bad habits and gain all the weight back. My Diet Angel helps you change your habits permanently by coaching you through gradual changes that work with your life.

2. I don’t know if I want someone else seeing everything I eat and drink. My family and closest friends don’t even know all that I eat. Why should I share those embarrassing details with a coach? My Diet Angel coaches are non-judgmental professionals who only want to help you make positive change. They will not condemn, ridicule, or shame you. They look objectively at each meal or intake situation and help steer you toward better choices. Your Angel will not try to overhaul all bad habits at once. Instead, your Angel will help you make small changes that will over time add up to significant weight loss. And because your Angel is someone who has no emotional relationship with you, you’ll get objective guidance that is always in your best interest.

3. What if I want to sign up for only one month, just to try it out? Do I have to sign up for three months? We’ve found, after working with countless clients, that it takes a minimum of 12 weeks to make lasting changes in your eating behaviors and to realize significant, long-term weight loss. Since we don’t offer any artificial “quick fixes,” signing up for one month would be a waste of your money and our time. We want to work only with those who are very serious about changing their lives for the better.

4. Will I have to eliminate my favorite foods and eat foods I don’t like? No. We will never ask you to eat foods you don’t like. That takes all the fun out of eating! We also will not ask you to eliminate all of your favorite foods. However, your Angel may ask that you eat your favorite foods in moderation or reduced portions, if those foods aren’t serving to make you healthier and happier. Because this isn’t a prescribed diet with a set-in-stone meal plan or low-cal, low-taste frozen food delivered to your door, you are free to eat the way you like to eat, with some sensible modifications to help you meet your goals.

5. Will I be hungry? Is this one of those starvation diets? Nope. Chances are, your Angel will ask you to eat more food than you’re used to. We want you to be satisfied by the food you eat. Satisfied people continually make good food choices. Hungry people make rotten food choices.

6. Do I have to take drugs, hormones, or supplements? Absolutely not! All of us at My Diet Angel believe that you can achieve your optimal weight, and optimal health, through the consumption of natural, healthy food. Science, by the way, has shown that too! We could give you a long list of reasons why drugs, hormones, and some questionable (but not all) supplements are NOT in your best interest, and how they actually work against your long-term health and weight loss goals, but suffice to say that you won’t find any of that garbage here!

7. Will I be required to buy anything else once I’m in? Nope. Our program is nothing more than you and your Angel creating the lasting weight loss that you deserve by nudging you daily in the direction of healthy eating.

8. How will I know how to eat? Other than my coach’s frequent correspondence with me, how can I learn what is expected of me or how to eat correctly? Once you sign-up with My Diet Angel, you not only get a full-time weight loss coach to “sit on your shoulder” and help you make the best food choices daily, you also become a member of My Diet Angel and earn unlimited access to a wealth of nutrition, diet, and fitness information and programs through the Education portion of our website. Through videos, webinars, reports and a healthy recipes, you will have all the information you need to immediately begin transforming your habits and waist line.

9. Do I have to count calories or carbs? No way! Food was meant to be enjoyed, not counted, measured, weighed, and tabulated. When you learn to eat as nature intended, counting calories or carbs becomes irrelevant. Excess weight is a behavior and food choice problem, not a math problem. We’ll leave the numbers out of it and change your behaviors instead.

10. Will I still be able to go out to eat? Yes! We know you have a life and we want you to live it. Your Angel will help you make the best menu decisions possible.

11. Will I still be able to drink alcohol? Many of our clients have lost a lot of weight while still indulging in occasional social drinking. Chances are they could have lost weight more quickly by abstaining completely, but because complete abstinence from alcohol didn’t fit with their lifestyle, they decided to lose weight slower and maintain that part of their life. That decision will be left up to you, but as with any high calorie, non-nutritive food, your Angel will nudge you toward sensible moderation.

12. Will I be required to exercise? No. There are no “requirements” to this program. But regular exercise will definitely help you take off the weight quicker and maintain your weight loss once you’ve reached your goal. It will just come down to how many weapons you want in your weight loss arsenal. Exercising and eating right will blast the fat much quicker than eating well alone. So your Angel will encourage you to exercise regularly and will serve as great accountability to make healthy movement as much a habit in your life as healthy eating.

13. Will I meet my goal weight in three months? That depends. When you begin your relationship with your Angel coach, he/she will help you determine a challenging but realistic goal weight for your first 12 weeks. Your Angel will do everything possible to help you meet that goal, including daily guidance, accountability, and motivation, but ultimately success is in your hands. Just as an athlete performs far better with a coach, the athlete must still do much of the training and hard work herself.

14. I’m very busy. How much time daily will this demand? Most of our clients are busy professionals or parents. Daily correspondence with your Angel will take approximately 10 minutes per day, however you’re welcome to communicate more with your Angel if necessary.

15. What happens if I forget to report a meal to my coach? No problem. Your Angel will send you a friendly text asking what you ate. You can then respond when it’s convenient.

16. I’m planning a trip in a month. Should I start now when I’m going to be away? This is the best time to enlist the help of an Angel! Because your Diet Angel is with you no matter where you go, so long as you have cellular service, your Angel can help you avoid the typical weight gain involved with business or pleasure travel.

17. Will I have a lack of energy? Most clients report a boost in energy from eating right and exercising. Because we aren’t asking you to drastically cut calories or carbs, you won’t experience the typical slump associated with those types of diets.

18. What if I don’t like my coach? Although rare, occasionally clients and coaches have conflicting personality types or communication styles. No problem! Our goal is to best serve you and if you believe your Angel isn’t best for you, we will happily reassign you with another Angel. And because your Angel never has access to your personal contact information (our software blocks the personal information of both client and coach so both can maintain privacy) you don’t have to worry about your Angel contacting you after the relationship is reassigned.

19. Will I lose weight every week? What if I don’t meet my weekly goals? Some clients lose weight every week and others don’t. Sometimes when clients don’t lose weight one week, they lose several pounds the next. It is impossible to predict exactly how every unique body will respond. However, your body always adapts to your behaviors so positive changes in your eating will result in weight loss! Weekly goals are set by both Angel and client to give the client something to shoot for and another thing to celebrate once the goal is met. If you don’t meet the weekly goal, you and your Angel will evaluate without judgment what may have kept your from your goal.

20. Will this program work if I’m on medications? Yes, in fact many clients begin with My Diet Angel on medications for diabetes, high blood pressure, and more. Our goal is to help you eliminate as many medications as possible! However, we encourage you to closely communicate with your doctor as you change your eating habits and lose weight, because that will affect your dosages.

21. Will this work if I’m over 65? Absolutely. You are never too old to lose weight. If you have the desire to lose weight and improve your health, we can help.

22. Should I tell my doctor that I’m on the My Diet Angel program? Yes. You should keep your doctor informed about your changes in eating and weight, because both can and will affect current or future medications.

23. I’ve been working with an Angel for several months now and everybody is asking what I’m doing to look so good. How do I help others change their lives too?
